As I took my wife to The Keg at Desert Ridge for her birthday week, we were excited for delicious food and great service as we made a reservation days in advance for a weekday mid evening dinner. We have been to The Keg before, and our experiences have been hit or miss in the past. Nonetheless, we're always up for trying it again every now and then as we love the food and the service staff have changed over the years. Our experience started on a frustrating note but ended on a satisfied and positive note. Having made the reservation several days in advance, being a weekday night, we didn't know how busy it would be. We arrived ten minutes in advance of our reservation time expecting to be seated earlier or at the very least on time. It turned out that we were seated more than 25 minutes after we arrived (more than 15 minutes after our reservation). We understand that there are times when this is unavoidable though in this case, only one couple was seated a few minutes before us (who had been waiting even longer than we had been). At the very least, it would have been nice if someone acknowledged that we had been waiting. Instead, the first notice of our wait was when we were being seated. While this would have given me reason to rate The Keg with 2-3 stars, the rest of the experience made up for this. Our server arrived promptly, answered questions, and even arranged for some teriyaki sauce for a sirloin (which until yesterday, was a menu item). The food arrived within a reasonable amount of time. While we didn't get our water refilled once during dinner, our server and the rest of the staff took care of everything else we needed. Some warm bread and butter arrived, and our entrees eventually came out. I ordered an 8 oz sirloin with teriyaki sauce, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, and green beans. My wife ordered what I believe is a new menu item: an oven roasted King Salmon prepared with honey mustard glaze along with garlic mashed potato and broccolini. There was a new Winter Grill menu along with many classic dishes and options to add-on salads if we chose to do so. There are also some good deals to be had during the right times. For instance, happy hour is daily from open until 6 PM. This includes special priced food and drinks. A casual Friday night at The Keg in Desert Ridge was buzzing - the place was packed with but in the best way! Our waiter was super kind and asked if we were celebrating anything to better assist with the night, super attentive even with the crowd. The New York Strip was a flavor bomb and cooked to perfection and the salmon ? Melt-in-your-mouth good. If you're thinking about stopping by, get a reservation because the place can fill up quick.

First time experiencing the menu and was impressed. Very delicious steak and lobster! Our waiter named Jake was fantastic and helpful. Dinner and ambiance by the fireplace was amazing, highly recommend!

We had the opportunity to dine on Thanksgiving for hubbys birthday. While they DO have a Thanksgiving menu, We opted out and ordered from the regular menu. Bacon scallops / soft, I'm not much of a meat eater so I thought it was OK. Lobster bisque / generous portion / "Very good!" Pistachio salmon served with cauliflower mash and broccoli - VERY GOOD. The salmon just melts in your mouth and perfectly cooked. Rib Steak served with twice baked potatoes and mushrooms / very good and filling They brought out a birthday treat for the hubby which was their Miner Pie and it consisted of mocha icecream with a Oreo crust. Service was very quick and very friendly waiters. No issues at all. We sat outside which was much quieter than the packed inside. I highly suggest sitting outside. Will definitely come again.

The filet was perfectly done, our server was very attentive. We went on a Thursday evening and I'm glad we made reservations, it was packed. I love the darker lighting here.

So our friends treated us to dinner for my birthday here!! I only wish i would have remembered to take pics of our food & dessert! Sorry!! My hubby & I ordered the Prime Rib dinner and it was DELICIOUS!! I also had French Onion soup that was amazing. The Billy Miner Pie for dessert was to die for!! Our server (sorry I can't remember his name ) was super attentive! The ambiance is very comforting for sure!! Highly recommend The Keg if you want a Prime Rib done right!

Went to the Keg with my friend. We have been staying nearby at the big Marriott vacation club and golf courses. I love the keg. My steak was awesome!

Just stopped in for a quick nightcap and was happy to see that they had a decent wine selection. Wines by the glass options were Ok, but they seem to have a deeper bottle list. Can't speak to the food, but the overall mood is low lighting, with modern decor and a sleek style with a spacious feel thanks to a tall ceiling over the large bar, but there are cozy little tables tucked into the corners which encourage down and dirty secret sharing. Service was exceptional and helpful, but at the end of the day it feels a little corporate and formulaic -- then again, they are in a mall, so what do you expect, right? (And yea, I found out that they're a chain). Still, a positive experience with good wine and great service. Will probably try it again.

Great place, the server Jaden was great. Quoy the mgr was awesome.The prime rib was great, but, do not like it pink, got it pink. The vegetables,salads & Billy Miner dessert are great.

So I finally had my craving for the peppercorn New York and it was okay..was a little disappointed in the steak. But nothing to brag about. Besides that..customer service was good. Salads were delicious. The floor layout had a tight feel about it. The bar was lovely..but I am undeceive if I will be coming back..
